Around here it is time for folks to remind themselves of those things that they are thankful for. I know this holiday is not celebrated world wide, but I am of the opinion that everyone ought to stop, stand still once in a while, and look around them. They ought to breathe deep, maybe shake their head, and say thanks.Hell, they may even want to do it more than once a year... I know, I know, you're saying what about those who have nothing to be thankful for. The poor. The homeless. The lost. The angry. The depressed. The insane. I've been all of the above so I think it fair to say everyone has a chance, if not equal, and everyone has one thing we often tend to take for granted...life. The opposite of life is death, there is no inbetween, and if you'd rather be dead then alive that's none of my business. I will say you won't find any pity from me, but then again you probably weren't looking for any to begin with. My point is anybody ought to be able to find plenty of things to be thankful for (the very least being life itself) and if you can't then you might as well be dead. Below is a list of some of the things I'm thankful for:
